Please please relief me?

My friend just cut himself gaping and has in a minute applied pressure to his arm. he seems to own controlled the bleeding but is still feeling table lamp headed. he doesnt want to telephone 911. if he controls the bleeding like he is doing very soon, should the light headedness jump away soon and he will survive? i need lend a hand He needs to run to the ER wether you drive him or call 911.
