i have a scaphoid fracture on my right mitt. my doc wanted surgery but i am impressively fearful of it. the fracture is right down the middle of the bone, and apparently the xray shows i have fractured it up to that time in yesteryear and did not know it. It doesn't look displaced. I am now surrounded by a cast (have never be in one)and hold a bone stimulator. Are there any pills I can bring (such as calcium) that will assist in curative?
Also, my fingers are exposed and they are constantly clamy and/or sweating, Is this normal? Plus the muscles between my wrist and elbow approaching to tighten up and feel sore. Is this middle-of-the-road with this fracture? Will the bone stimulator promote bone heling faster? Any input is appreciated. Thanks! You stipulation to be asking this of your doctor and not the amateurs here. Trust the medical professional who is treating you. If you do not, then bring a second opinion from another doctor.
