Yesturday, around 5 or so, a friend of mine was given Valium by another friend of mine. I'm not sure how much he took as it be crunched up. Today I called his dad around 3:30 and he be still out of it. He'll stand up and try to walk but dribble, his speech is slurred, too. First of all, it's a crime to distribute someone else your prescription medication, and it's dangerous. The character taking the medication may have allergies, be taking other medication or other things that might do a bad interaction.
If your friend is still out of it, he should noticeably be taken to the emergency room. The valium may not have made his condition worse. Whatever point that he took the valium in the first place might purely be worse and the valium masked the symptoms.
I can't say one course or the other and neither can anyone else online. The only mode to know what's going on with your friend is to enjoy a doctor examine him.
In any case, he should NEVER pocket prescription drugs from a friend. One or both of them could be arrested.
